Too many sailing clubs in Australia still have “Members Only” signs at their entrance, reinforcing the image of the sport as exclusive and inaccessible.
So it was great to see this huge sign near the entrance to Sandringham Yacht Club in Victoria, loudly proclaiming that people are welcome to come in.
Sandringham is a club that does most things extremely well. This is just one example.
