Sales at St Kilda's newest marina exceed expectations

Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron’s new marina opened just last February, but already the demand for the 20 year leases has seen them snapped up, with only 4 remaining on offer.

General Manager Rod Austin said he was delighted with the result. “We set aside a number of pens across the 10 to 20 metre range to help fund the construction of our new 250 berth marina. The 10 metre pens went quickly and now we only have a few left in the larger sizes. Of course, we can always help out with shorter term pen rentals”.

Part of the attraction for this state-of-the-art marina is its location in the heart of cosmopolitan St Kilda, and only minutes away from the CBD. This, plus the amenity offered by the Squadron’s beautifully renovated historic clubhouse, has proven a strong draw amongst Melbourne’s sailing community.
