The new Sydney City Marine maintenance facility is scheduled to open later this year at Rozelle Bay. Facilities will include a 600 tonne shiplift, a 100t shiplift and a 47t submersible trailer ensuring efficient movement of craft out of the water and onto the 6200sq m of open hard stand area or 3200sq m of undercover hardstand.
Painting will also be catered for in purpose-built booths up to 38m long and 15m wide, with some of the latest painting technology.
While Sydney City Marine will be able to handle superyachts up to 55m and a beam of 13m, the company says owners of craft 10m and above will be able to access the same services at highly competitive prices.
