Class Rules Update:
The latest version of the class rules are now live, effective from 1 July. The changes can be found in the rules and include:
- Sail Numbers and Letters: minimum number and letter sizes have been changed for 6.9 sails only; and to improve legibility with lap counting, digital 8 style numbers will be prohibited from 1 January 2025.
- Helmets: Helmets are mandatory for U18s and 18+ at all events unless otherwise stated in the NORs or SIs.
- Pumping: standing up pumping is now prohibited, and pumping the sail on the exit of tacks or gybes is permitted within the limits of the rule. All rule changes are highlighted in the class rules. Sailors are advised to familiarise themselves with any changes.
