2023 Women’s International Games Champion Hattie Rogers and 2021 European Champion Matt Beck are heading for AC37
WASZP sailors all over the world continue to gain selection for both the Youth and Women’s Americas Cup to be held in Barcelona in September 2024. We have already seen a number of teams selecting WASZP sailors to be involved in both the youth and women’s competitions. Perhaps the toughest and intensive trials have been conducted in the UK for the Athena Pathway Programme, 18-months of intensive on and off water trials culminated in the brilliant news the both Hattie Rogers and Matt Beck have gained selection for AC37.
Many of the teams are currently using the WASZP Class in some form within their pathway and for Talent Identification.

Record Entries For 2024 International Waszp Games
The WASZP Class, renowned as the premier one-design foiling dinghy globally, is making waves with unprecedented growth and record-breaking participation. The upcoming event in Sandefjord, Norway, slated for August 2024, has already shattered expectations, with all 150 original slots snapped up within a mere 48 hours of entries opening. In response to overwhelming demand, event organisers Sandefjord Seilforening, in collaboration with WASZP, have worked tirelessly to open an additional 30 slots, bringing the total entry list to a staggering 180 boats.
