Windcraft is currently preparing for the Sydney International Boat Show and will again have a strong presence.

Sailing amidst the current economic climate can be tough & demand close to the wind tactics but Windcraft is again at the front of the pack and has been able to grow and forge ahead.

Windcraft will have on display the entire range of Hanse Yachts from 32 to 54 feet, except for the new model 37 which is due for release later this year. Alongside the range of Hanse Yachts will be the stunning Moody 45 Deck Saloon which had a world release at last years' Sydney Show.

Another first for Sydney will be the innovative Fjord 40 Cruiser, on show at Sydney for the first time, after successful shows at Melbourne and Sanctuary Cove earlier this year. The Fjord 40 Cruiser will be alongside the Fjord 40 Open, another vessel that has been a show stopper since its launch in 2007.

Windcraft's managing director Peter Hrones says “Our range of products is one of our greatest strengths. The three brands, Hanse, Moody and Fjord imported by Windcraft have a completely individual & unmistakable design which cover a broad range of target groups. This combined with the support and backing of my staff and agents throughout Australia, has seen us build on what was a great start to 2009. “

“I will be travelling to the manufacturers yard this month to view the latest design releases and to see what innovations we can look forward to in the coming year. Hanse Yachts have been abl e to take advantage of the current economic situation and recently acquired the Dehler Yachts brand. I have been importing the Hanse Yachts for ten years and it is refreshing that the company still continues to grow and that we are able to offer a product that is always at the forefront of design and performance”, he said.

Windcraft is looking forward to a challenging but exciting second half to 2009.
