Final Trifecta…
MPS Windsurfer Class World Championships 2023 Perth Western Australia – In conjunction with Vaikobi, hosted by the South of Perth Yacht.
Another sunny 33 degrees bestowed the 250 athletes with a challenging gusty and shifty South easterly breeze of 11-19 knots. If you were well versed in linking up the gusts you were bound to do well.
Even with a wind shift and course shift, the final 3 races were completed for all divisions. This puts an end to a majority of everyone’s worlds campaign.
After everyone was settled there was time for Freestyle. A number of participants strutted their routines to a thumping sound track and awesome commentary.
This kept the gathering crowd entertained!
The only item left is the final for the men’s slalom scheduled tomorrow (Thursday).
50% fair racing, 50% social fun.
