World Sailing Show is back

World Sailing is excited to announce the re-launch of the World Sailing Show to premiere on 30 May 2022, with each 30-minute episode featuring news, profiles and racing highlights from across the world of sailing.

Produced by Sunset+Vine, shows will be released every month on the World Sailing Show YouTube Channel and distributed via a network of international broadcasters on every continent.

Airing through to December 2022, the first eight episodes, will keep audiences around the world up to date on the latest news across the sport, including world and continental championships, global events, Olympic qualifiers, Para Sailing, community activities, grass roots sailing, and much more.

The first episode of the relaunched series focuses on the Hempel World Cup Series at Trofeo Princesa Sofìa, the SailGP Grand Final of season 2, with a season 3 kick off, the World Match Race Tour Congressional Cup and a Para Sailing update on the bid to get the sport back in the Paralympic Games for LA28.

There’s also a feature on the foiling revolution in the Olympic classes, America’s Cup news, an update on Emirates Team New Zealand’s wind-powered land speed record attempt, and offshore sailing from the Caribbean 600 and the 1000 Miles des Sables.

Future episodes will include high profile coverage given to World Sailing’s Special Events – the sport’s flagship events such as the America’s Cup, The Ocean Race, SailGP, the PWA World Windsurfing Tour, World Match Racing Tour, GKA Kite World Tour, Star Sailors League and Foiling Week,

Originally broadcast from 2016 to April 2020, the World Sailing Show captivated audiences worldwide with its unrivalled coverage and analysis of the global sailing scene. The program racked up a combined television viewership of 27.6m during a 12-episode season and total views in excess of 9m on the official YouTube channel over four years.
